The Republic Sudan’s Independence Day Celebration at YOD Abyssinia Cultural Restaurant
Commemorating their victory from the colonization of Great Britain in 1956, the Sudanese Embassy to Ethiopia and Sudanese nationals in Ethiopia celebrated their independence day at the mini hall of YOD Abyssinia Cultural Restaurant on January 25th of 2012.
In this astonishing ceremony prepared by the Sudan Airways in collaboration with the Embassy of Sudan, Sudanese Ambassador to Ethiopia, member of the diplomatic missions, prominent figures and businessmen were in attendance.

A young girl roasting traditional Ethiopian coffee in a genuine Ethiopian ceremony where fresh grasses and flowers decorate the floor around the ‘coffee table’ area and the charcoal fire with smoke from the incense in the air smarten the ceremony is what foremost catches the eyes of the various delegates of the African Union Summit.
The delegates gathered to experience the aroma of fresh roasted coffee, along with the odor from the fresh grass giving a glimpse of Ethiopian tradition, taking pictures by great admiration of the wooden chairs carved with different motifs representing Ethiopian genuine architectural beauty and heritages.

Being an ideal venue for guests who wish to have a private revelry and occasions, on the 24th of January 2012, YOD Abyssinia Cultural Restaurant’s mini hall, Rohobot Salon, hosted an exciting dinner party which more than 170 World Health Organizations staff members and their spouses were in presence. This sensational get-together was accompanied by mix of vibrant local and international music selections of a DJ YOD Abyssinia especially arranged for the guests.
