East African Association of Paleoanthropologists & Paleontologists - More celebration and rejoice at YOD Abyssinia Cultural Restaurant

YOD Abyssinia hosts more than one hundred members of the East African Association of

Paleoanthropologists and Paleontologists, guests of Ethiopian Quadrants P.L.C. in an another

warm cultural night on August 11, 2011. Having their first meeting arranged in Ethiopia,

members from different African countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda; Europe and America experienced Ethiopian reflections in their last night in Ethiopia.

Ethiopian Quadrants General Manager Tony Hickey, in his brief opening remark, appreciated Ethiopia and how much it has to offer to the world. He also appreciated the decision of East African Association of Paleoanthropologists and Paleontologists choosing Ethiopia for their meeting and encouraged to do the same in their future engagements as well.

Meanwhile, after dining – the diverse Ethiopian cultural authentic food and drink in a festive mood, everyone revitalized to take part with the energetic YOD Abyssinia Cultural Music Team, - happy faces, great joy and cherish.

Among them was the famous Ethiopian paleoanthropologists Zeresenay Alemseged (PHD) who said, “. . . today I am here with my friends from overseas and I am very happy as well they are. YOD Abyssinia is a true parallel reflection of my country Ethiopia, and the service is magnificent and the attendants of great hospitality”. The other prominent paleontologist, Berhane Asfaw (PHD) added, “. . . it is a wonderful cultural venue, the owner is very considerate, he walks around making sure everything is in its best that is what business is all about, I’m really impressed”.

Similarly, Ethiopian Quadrants General Manager Tony Hickey commented, “I always come to YOD Abyssinia, the management and the service are reliable and I’m always very confident to bring my guests here”.

Researcher Lor Dbbie commented, “. . . it is great to see dancing from different part of the country”, and with excitement they accompanied the folk dancers imitating Oromigna, Tigrigna, Guragegna, Gojamegn and many more cultural dances. “. . . it’s my first time in Ethiopia, and is a really nice show”, said Tiya from Georgia.

Commenting on the interior design of the cultural hall, comprising paintings, artifacts and sculptures representing various historical and natural attractions of Ethiopia, Wolkitte University Academic President Yonas Beyene (PHD) added, “. . . YOD Abyssinia is filled with sociable staffs, singers and even customers, it’s a great place, the toilet is very clean; the songs are by good choice”. Saanane (PHD) from Tanzania University added, “. . . fabulous people, management, dancers and customers as well, very well designed building, really original shows of Ethiopia, a pure cultural experience and next time I will definitely be coming back here”.

Staffs of Ethiopian Quadrants Ato Begashaw, Ato Asrat and Ato Abeje Mandefro who organized the event also stated, “. . . great hospitality, we are following YOD Abyssinia wherever, it’s almost our house YOD Abyssinia has good qualities more than we can express in words, and  we can shortly say YOD Abyssinia is the best of the best”.

And the joy sharing continued to be more exciting throughout the night, and YOD Abyssinia, Ethiopia’s ‘Cultural Ambassador’, continues serving as a home away from home for all who wish to treat their guests, friends or beloved ones to authentic Ethiopian culture.
