YOD Abyssinia welcomes the New Year by hosting holiday programs of the National Television & Metropolis Television

Ethiopia’s ‘Cultural Ambassador’ continues to be number one choices for all holiday events. Once

again YOD Abyssinia hosted two exciting holiday events of Ethiopian Television and Addis Ababa

Television, on Tuesday the 6th of September.

Ethiopian National Television children’s especial holiday program was hosted at the main hall and was joined by YOD Abyssinia Cultural Music Band. The cultural hall was filled with children of varying age from different corners of Addis chanting, singing and dancing while the diverse nations and nationalities songs and dances were performed by YOD Cultural Music Band.

Instantly, the weekly Talk Show “Zikere Neger” program was hosted at YOD Abyssinia’s Rohobot Salon. Artistes, journalists, companies officials and popular figures like the Millennium Generation Ambassador Artist Wubshet Workalemahu, Yeshewa Tessema, Geleta Tekletsadiq, Dejene Tilaun, Sajin Assefa Mezgebu, Ethiopian Idol show director Ato Yeshaqe, were in attendance.

The show, that mainly focuses on social, political and economical issues of the general public, was prepared by Addis Ababa City Administration Communication Bureau in collaboration with HIV/AIDS Secretariat and YOD Abyssinia Cultural Restaurant.

One of the talk show program organizers, Ato Shewangezaw Teklu said, “. . . from all cultural restaurants, we chose YOD Abyssinia because its most comfortable for this kind of cultural events, the compound is wide and we always get granted responses from the management”.

At the beginning of the Talk Show, YOD Abyssinia Cultural Band presented ‘Abebayehosh’ – the popular Ethiopian holiday song for the guests. As the participants raised and spoke on different issues on how the people can bring change on their lives and the country, YOD Abyssinia served special coffee and Ethiopian traditional bread.

 

At the end of the show the guests joined YOD Abyssinia’s the extraordinary diverse lunch cultural buffet. “. . . I found YOD Abyssinia having the most unique interior design, and full of attractive cultural decorations; on top the coffee is very good, the staffs are active and very hospitable”, said the prominent Artist Geleta Tekeletsadik sipping YOD Abyssinia’s coffee.

Sajin Aseffa Mezgebu, the prominent Traffic Police PR Officer, also said “. . . a very good hospitality, the staffs are always smiling and happy to serve, the cultural food is fresh and tasty, the musical band and the whole set up reflect Ethiopian true culture”. And many others shared gratefulness and appreciation for the entire service they experienced at YOD Abyssinia.
